I have had problems with my Mercury Sable's transmission for the last year. I spent 1700 bucks with these guys back in Sept. of 2010. The car ran great then for some reason I had more problems. I had it towed back to the shop so they could honor the warranty. At first the lady I dealt with would not help me. I called Mr. Hugh Williams the next day. He said he would take care of my car personally. A few days later I picked it up with no charge. The car is running better now than it has in awhile. I think they even fixed the idle on it too. Mr. Williams assured me that the car was now in great running condition. His work was prompt. I appreciate his personal help. He also told me if I have anymore problems to just bring it back in to the shop. Thank you Mr. Williams. We look forward to having you service our other vehicles when the time comes.

This transmission shop does good work and they do stand behind the work they perform. I have had a couple of vehicles serviced by this shop over the years. I have had an issue or two, but they always go out of the way to make sure that I'm taken care of. I have never paid a dime over what the original repair ticket was, even if i had to bring the vehicle back again for a small repair and I've never been spoken to rudely. Automobiles are machines, machines break eventually. These guys are a great place to have them repaired because they understand that and they know that they will continue to break. My rating is very good because that's what the service is. In my opinion no auto shop could ever get a 5 star rating, just by principle, but this is definitely one of the best I've dealt with.

Live in Mt Pleasant and requested AA Transmission to check my transmission, towed in for free and after review found no issues , just low fluid. There was no charge and the business and people were very professional

I would not trust anyone else with my vehicle. I have had dealings with this business over the past ten years. Hugh is a good business man with a conscience. He has always treated me great. The work is always done correctly and timely. I would recommend AA transmission for all their work. Thanks for all you do.

Today I got stranded in Charleston, SC. I was on my way home to Bluffton, kids in tow, when my car just shut off. I feared the worst. I stumbled across AA Transmission Doctors by chance; they were the closest shop to me (thanks, Siri!). What a stroke of luck! They sent a tow truck for my car and a courtesy car to pick up my family and me. They got an alternator within an hour and had it installed half an hour after that. From breakdown to full repair, I only waited TWO HOURS! I couldn't believe it! I'll be honest. I have been taken for a ride (no pun intended) by mechanics before, and so I'm always leery if I don't personally know the people. These folks were total strangers to me, but by the time we left, we felt like part of their family; that's how well we were cared for! They could have gouged me because I was stuck two hours from home. Instead they treated me like one of their own! I cannot recommend them any more highly. If I were local, this would be the only place I use! I am sold! If you're in Charleston and looking for honest, dependable automotive repair, you owe it to yourself to check them out! Thank you, AA! John and the boys were honest with me up front and very knowledgeable. He explained what needed to be done in layman's terms and showed me what he was seeing that was wrong with the car. Although it was an expensive job (transmission work undoubtably is) I was 100% comfortable with my purchase. The turnaround time was impressive - I had my "baby" back in no time. Highly Recommend!

I recently discovered it was time for my 2010 Dodge Charger to get a tranny fluid change. They fit me in right away, had me in and out within 2 hours and this is a special kind of transmission. The techs knew what they were doing, got my car back to me clean, and made sure I was happy. I will go back to them when I get my exhaust in March and will tell all my friends!!! Hugh was great also. He came out to give me a update, we talked shop, and made me feel I was appreciated. Thanks again!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Be a yardstick of quality. Some people aren't used to an environment where excellence is expected.
